2 oz bourbon

.5 oz Demerara syrup

6-8 mint leaves

Add the syrup and mint to the julep cup and lightly muddle. Add the bourbon and fill with crushed ice. Stir until the cup becomes frosted and then pack with more crushed ice to create a snow cone look. Garnish with a bunch of fresh mint sprigs.
